Welcome to Love Good Beer.
The most important element all good beers share is that the drinker enjoys it. I’m not too bothered by how well a critique scores a beer out of 100 – if it doesn’t taste good to you, than whats the point in drinking it? Although it can be fun to find, or at least try to find, all the different flavor notes each beer has, that is not what beer is all about. After all, if anyone tries hard enough I’m sure they could find a nutty flavor in just about every beer they drink.
Beer can be a complex drink with a huge range in styles and a rich history. However, it is simplicity that make beer so special to most. Beer is a common ground for friends, family, and co-workers to enjoy together. Beer should always be appreciated for what it is, but it should never become pretentious and intimidating.
I have a huge passion for beer, as does my fellow blogger Chris. We will share about how we enjoy beer and the many stories that beer helps to create. This site is all about enjoying good beer.
