Stone Brewing soon to be available in BC

Thursday, January 28th, 2010 | Beer

Last week I speculated that the attendance of Greg Koch, co-founder and CEO of Stone Brewing, at Vancouver’s Beer Wars Screening this Sunday might mean that Stone‘s beers were soon to be available in BC.  Today, I can proudly announce that I was correct in my speculation.  I laid eyes on the order form that confirms the arrival of Ruination IPA, Levitation Ale, Oaked Arrogant Bastard, Smoked Porter and others.  We, the thirsty beer enthusiasts of BC, will be able to purchase these beers from Brewery Creek and other fine beer stores early next week.  I’ll be heading straight to the store as soon as I get the word and you’d best be staying out of my way, elbows could fly.

Cheers,

Chris

Yes! Ruination is amazing. Stone is the epitome of craft brewing, and my introduction to ridiculously amazing beer. Good job uncovering this introduction to BC. Looking forward to your reviews. And Chris..I’m not afraid of your elbows.

That is because my elbows only come up to your belt. Watch out for low blows.

I had a chance to buy some Stone when I was at GBBF. I put it off. When I did get around to it all the Stone was sold out, as was most of the good American stuff.

Well now’s your chance! Just hop on into Brewery Creek next week and buy some. It’ll probably be fresher than it would have been at GBBF too. How was GBBF anyway? I hope to attend this year.

Cheers,

Chris

Sounds pretty awesome. I would have been there had the date not changed, but now I have to miss out. I hope it’s a good time and I can’t wait to buy me some Stone next week.

Cheers,

Chris

Greg Koch said that he expects to be sending his beer here by 2011. The Stone beer that is coming out this week is just a one-off shipment, so better get it while you can!

That is a crushing blow, but at least it is going to be here for a little while.
